WHY

WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR SOME PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND THAT SOME PEOPLE JUST DON’T LIKE SOCIAL GATHERINGS. WHY IS IT SO HARD TO GRASP THE IDEA OF HOW PARTIES CAN BE A REAL NIGHTMARE TO ANXIOUS/DEPRESSED PEOPLE AND WHEN I SAY ‘I DON’T WANT TO GO PLEASE STOP INSISTING’ I MEAN EXACTLY THAT

STOP FUCKING TRYING TO FORCE ME TO GO PLACES JFC

Anxiety attacks aren’t always hyperventilating and rocking back and forth

Anxiety attacks can take different forms, such as:

  • Unpredictable bouts of rage or irritability
  • Nit-pickiness (obsessive behavior, which may be a part of OCD), and even a hypersensitivity to disarray, chaos, or any sort of change
  • Fast-talking, stuttering, stumbling over words
  • Not talking at all
  • Sitting rigid, staring into space, almost seeming “zoned out”

Understanding the way our or other’s anxiety works can help to decrease the stigma and help to calm a person faster and get them out of that state. These are just a few, but it gives an idea of the range in which attacks can come.

PLEASE READ THIS. I sometimes experience extreme anxiety where I literally can’t talk or can’t express myself clearly at all. Everyone gets mad or upset with me because they think I’m purposley trying to avoid there comfort, but I really can’t help it.

This basically just told me that my life is a constant anxiety attack so thank you I now feel the need to fix this

Let me tell you, if you are ever with a person who has anxiety, and they ask you to order their food for them, or stand next to them when they buy something, or reassure them countless times exactly the time and place where you will be meeting them at, DO NOT ROLL YOUR EYES, DO NOT SIGH IN EXASPERATION, AND DO NOT TELL THEM TO STOP BEING SO SILLY. Sometimes its hard to do simple things like that, and when people help us out, it means the world to us.
